Mandy Alert – Horse Missing

Okotoks, AB --- Mandy, a black, 14.2 hh Welsh/Arab/Quarter Horse cross mare, has gone missing from a family acreage located south of Okotoks, Alberta.
On the morning of Wednesday, August 20, 2008, the family discovered the wires to Mandy’s enclosure cut and Mandy missing. Mandy may have been taken from the paddock, 434W Ave just off dump road at Okotoks. Other horses still remained in the field.
Mandy can be identified by a pronounced hernia, the size of a tennis ball, on her right side just behind her ribs.
Her nine-year old pony club rider very sadly misses her.
There is a $1500 reward for her return.
