- Introduction to Riding Clinic: This is the second stage that follows the Round Penning and On-Line Ground Work Clinic. In this clinic, you will learn safe saddling and mounting, riding positions, positive forward movement, turns, stops, backing, side-passing, walk/trot/canter on a loose rein, as well as riding patterns. Our clinics' 6 participant limit creates a relaxed, positive learning environment where individuals receive ample personal, hands on instruction. We have Halter classes in the morning. Then English classes with some Hunter classes and a Jumper class if we have enough interst. Western Classes include Trail, Pleasure and horsemanship. Klondike Klip Klop Klassic - A Fun Driving Event- Beaumont, Alberta
Beaumont Ag Society Grounds- The Klondike Driving Chapter welcomes spectators to a fun driving event called the Klip Klop Klassic, Aug. 14-15, 2010, from 7 AM – 5 PM, at the Beaumont Agricultural Society facility 2 km west of Beaumont. This driving chapter is a part of the Alberta Carriage Driving Association. The Klip Klop Klassic will be based on Horse Driving Trials consisting of dressage, cross country marathon and cones courses. Come on out and view the variety of horses and driving vehicles, chat with the drivers and touch the horses. Please no dogs for safety reasons and children must be controlled.
